John and Mary Orcutt, of New Milford, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Nicole Orcutt, to Matthew Calabria Ryter, son of Michael and Maureen Ryter, of Washington Township, N.J., and the late Angela Calabria Ryter.
The future bride graduated from New Milford High School, and summa cum laude from Providence College in Providence, R.I., with a Bachelor of Arts in elementary and special education. She is a first grade teacher at the Frank A. Berry School in Bethel.
The future bridegroom graduated from Westwood High School in Westwood, N.J., and from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in business management. He is a sales associate for a publishing company in New York City.
A July wedding is planned.
