Danbury woman stable after accident

RIDGEFIELD-- A 56-year-old Danbury woman was reported in stable condition at Danbury Hospital after an accident Wednesday night on Route 7 near the Redding town line, police said.

Debra Vita, of Flint Ridge Road, had to be extricated from her car after it collided with another vehicle just after 4:30 p.m.

The driver of the second car, Salvador Bustillo, 42, of Farm Street, Danbury, was not taken to the hospital, police said.

The accident remains under investigation.
