Silver Alert issued for man reported missing in Danbury

DANBURY -- A Silver Alert has been issued for a 78-year-old man who suffers from dementia who called his wife and said he was lost in Danbury.

Martin Anflick -- who is described as white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 196 pounds with white hair and brown eyes -- was last heard from around 6 p.m. when he called his wife and said he was lost in Danbury. Anflick is from Fairfield.

Anflick was last seen wearing a checkered black and white long sleeve shirt, khaki pants, a tan jacket and black shoes. He was operating a gray 1999 Nissan Quest minivan with Conn. registration GS7154.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Fairfield police at 203-254-4800, and reference case No. 12-15958.

A photo of Anflick was not immediately available, police said.
