BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Putnam County Sheriff's Office investigators have released a photo of the man being sought in the May 15 knife point robbery of a North Main Street deli and are asking the public's help to identify him.

The suspect was described as a white or light-skinned Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, between 5 feet, 10 inches, and 6 feet tall with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black watch cap, a black hooded sweatshirt with "Rocawear" printed on the front, gray sweatpants with two white stripes down each leg, and tan shoes.

He has a woman's face tattooed on his left hand, Sheriff Donald Smith said.

The man entered the deli about 8 p.m., grabbed money from the register and fled on foot.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 845-225-8060.
