DANBURY -- Three men were arrested in the East Liberty Street area early Saturday after a melee at the Old Oak Restaurant on Liberty Street, police said.

Police said the fight began after a group of men were thrown out of the restaurant for rowdy behavior. As they left, one allegedly hit a bartender with a beer bottle. Outside, another pulled out a knife, police said, shouting, "I'm gonna get you.''

After searching the neighborhood, police arrested three men. Fabio Silva, 35, of East Liberty Street -- the man who police said had the knife -- was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, threatening, second-degree assault and breach of peace. Inacio Costa, 35, of East Liberty Street, was charged with second- and third-degree assault and breach of peace. Jose Alves Da Silva, 40, of East Liberty Street, was charged with breach of peace.

The three were all held Saturday at the Danbury Police Department: Silva on $100,000 bail; Costa on $50,000 bail and Da Silva on $2,500 bail.

All three are scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Danbury on Monday.
